3 months ago I got banned for "Assisting ban evasion", and in this appeal I want to tell you what happened, and ask for forgiveness.
I started my loka journey in August (i joined the server some time in 2022 but i didnt play at all). I was enjoying the server a lot, having fun with my friends for the short peroid of time before my ban. One day a banned guy from my friend group started alting. I didn't help him by vouching for him or adding to a town, but I was fully aware of the fact that he was in fact ban evading.
Disclaimer: im not trying to make excuses, but to fully explain what happened and what my thought process was.
I believed that it was okay for me to know about him alting if I didn't actively help him. I knew how the vouch system works, someone explained that to me, so I thought only the person vouching is at risk. I misunderstood the rules and thought that it's okay for me to play with him if I wasn't the one vouching for him and stuff. That's 100% my fault. My english isn't the best, and what I should have done is use a translator to full understand the rules, which I unfortunately didn't do, and moving forward I promise to never make a mistake like that again. (once again, im not trying to make excuses, not knowing the rules obviously does not protect me from the consequences). Even now, I'm still banned but I took the time to translate the rules for myself and learn in-depth how the server works. I regret not doing it earlier, but I sadly can't go back in time to fix my mistakes.
I'd like to take this chance to apologise, to the community and to the staff team. My ignorance towards the rules made a dangerous individual able to play again, and potentially cause more harm then he already did in the past, he was banned for a good reason, and I had the chance to stop it, but I did not, which I want to take full accountability for.
So once again, I'm sorry for my mistakes, I've learned from them and promise to not make any more mistakes moving forward.
