okay, basically on garama and other continents you are not allowed to use elytras because evil tyrant jakeman5 says no and his alliance is capital of garama so I have came up with some solutions

If you are friendly to the alliance that owns the capital you are on currently: You can fully use your elytra without any issues

If you are Neutral to the alliance that owns the capital you are on currently: You can still use your elytras but it has the same effect for elytras in the nether (burning)

If you are Hostile to the alliance that owns the capital you are on currently: You just can't use elytras.

another idea that i thought of was a taxing system but that will never be implented

Make all RI's equally OP so no fly on garama doesn't really matter
What do you mean by this? The RI's all have about the equal amount of ores scattered throughout them, the whole "Garama is the best" is a myth really, one that caused people to frequent garama more often, therefore learning there way around the caves better and also concluding that garama was the best.

All the RIs are in fact even. As Lurnn said Garama being the best is a myth, likely because it's the simplest to navigate when compared to Kalros or Ascalon.

Sake of argument, even if they are all equal, wouldn't that mean that Garama has the highest density when compared since Ascalon RI underground is massive compared to Garama

Yes but ascalon is way bigger than garama and kalros is hell to navigate because of all of the lava in it

Fwiw, the Resource isles are coming up on like 5~ years of age.

Personally, I think the resource isles shouldn't be a factor within the whole policy picking part of conquest.

EDIT: From the sounds of it, and this is from a totally unqualified point of view, I have very little insight into how the ores are generated. The issue is that the sizes and ease of navigation aren't equal across all Resource Isles.

Personally, a trip to Ascalon RI gives less than Garama and Garama takes up significantly less time. You could argue that the odds of encountering another player are much larger at Garama but I've been ganked more often within Ascalon RI.

I know there has been some discussion about new resource isles or resource isles changing to account for the increase in Y we now have compared to originally designed. This discussion is starting to get off topic though.

When me and sigma used to mine quite actively we pulled 6 stacks + of diamonds pretty much every ascalon RI trip, this being the most out of all RI's we mined usually.

you just doin something wrong my guy
Ascalon RI is really the only RI I know how to navigate. Kalros I can't find, Garama is somewhat decent, but eh.
