Now all that being said let me explain why it was terrible for Loka.
The problem imo is that free pots is not enough incentive for everyone to forget about end ganks and all of its pros. I suggested it before Zyre came out that Zyre needs more incentive and I still think it does to this day. As well as Zyre has not been out for very long and in my eyes it can still use a lot of tuning and that can come in any shape or size.
- The amount of gear End Ganks used daily is comparable to a KitPvP server
- In some cases people stopped placing conquest because they were out of pots because of End Ganks THIS IS HUGE
- A select few of the people who actually ganked were responsible for grinding their gear THIS MAKES UP LIKE HALF PEOPLE WHO WENT TO END
- Just a overall drain on each and every town that had members exhausting armor and pots on a daily basis
I'm glad to be blamed for everything... 4 months of hard development work to build gank isle and the other 3 months of it being talked about and now here we are after 5 months of it being released...

Add docks and cut the map in half. If we shrink the map I’d say get rid of the storm. Player counter is a cool idea too. also koths or other events should take place on zyre similar to fishing tournaments.I appreciate the well thought out post. It is true that for us a big reason people asked for, and we created Zyre was to combat the resource loss caused by end ganks (among a few other things).
That said, arguing on behalf of the people who miss end ganks, I'm pretty certain they do not care at all about that part. Whether you had, grinded, or lost gear to end ganks was totally up to them to handle and solve for and they don't really care about that.
There are some tweaks we've agreed to just try out (remove crystals, add a number hologram that shows number of players on Zyre). I think the bigger sticking points are probably:
- FPS (tough one)
- Dock protection, which is the most controversial one I suspect.
I could potentially see letting people be able to come back to spawn if they stayed on the dropship, but once you have a sanctuary zone on Zyre, players will only exist in about a 50-100 block radius around that sanctuary and they will go nowhere else.
It's this concept that I think the most discussion/brainstorming needs to happen around.

sorry i dont want to go with entire alliance just for 1 gankI mean I still see people regularly say, 'Garama red zone dock'. When Zyre is active, it's quite active and when it's not, it's not. I definitely don't see what people mean when they say it's 'dead'. Realistically Gank Isle will just have a super inconsistent population and I don't forsee it changing, the same would happen to End Ganks.
i dont die .so basically everyone who dies on zyre is complaining because its easier for them to kite from docks or in the end….

a way to fix this is maybe make 1 dock red tag and the other 2 yellow tag, make it very obvious which is which, like make ascalon docks red tag and garama yellow bc garama is actually useful for the riContinent docks will never become a red tag zone. The reason being is that we want to have an area for new people to go in order to get set up in the future. Although now there aren't any new people getting set up this way, eventually Loka should be accessible to people wanting to go about things on their own instead of joining a town.
