Ender Pearls in Towns

Just thought I would clarify to everyone how ender pearls work on the new map. Pearls can be used as normal in the wilds, in your own town and within any towns territory. (territory generators) However if a pearl ever lands in a towns protection (normal town generator) that is not your own it will not teleport you there. This is to prevent the need for towns to build domes just to protect themselves from ender pearls. So ender pearls are no longer a valid method for breaching a town walls so you don't need to worry about protecting your town from ender pearls.

We are currently working on a sieging system which will allow you to attack other towns. We will have more information about this soon and keep you updated on the forums.

Even though most players don't have anything but, is it ok to go and steal items out of their town if their chests are unprotected?
 
I know the sieges are still a work in progress but I have 1 question about the plans. Is sieging a town on another continent still being discussed or is it decided?
 
So, people would siege towns in other continents instead of trading in the market? Maybe that would be okay. If continents wind up each being covered by singular alliances, it could make for intercontinental war of a scale never seen before. Hmmmmm . . .
