Type /register while in-game to register for a forums account.

On and off all day today (August 6, 2012) I have been having issues with logging into Minecraft. I read up on some forums and quite a few people have had the same issue. Anyone else?

Minecraft.net was simply down. Seems fine now.

Ironically, the first time Minecraft went down was just after I jumped into a nether portal while jailed. I crashed my own game and caused several errors on the server, then was unable to log back in. The second time I installed a water shader and crashed my minecraft and again the servers went down.

Coincidence... or power?

Well.. Now I can log into Minecraft via launcher, but I cannot sign onto Loka.
