Hello, I'm here to appeal for removal of the ban, for having an alt. I'm confused because I'm new to the server (99.9% sure). I was on yesterday for around 10 minutes, read the rules, checked out the forums, got on a boat to one of the continents, grabbed some gear from the free equipment wall. Then I'm met with a notice that I was disconnected and banned for having an alt. I do have an alt (drelge), but I never personally logged on with that account before on this server and haven't logged on with that account in over a year. I talk with an admin on discord as prompted was told that there was reason to suspect I was connected with another player that I never knew about. I'm here to appeal and provide any evidence if possible to clear me of this suspicion (considering the long time it's been since I logged on any multiplayer server).

I wanted to join the server yesterday after trying to find the best server I can be on to roleplay and do geopolitical gameplay. I was on Alathra, but I haven't been on there for a year and a half now, and that was really my most recent multiplayer experience other than hopping to a new server the past couple of weeks. I had switched jobs that let me play more again, so that's why I'm here.

There is no confusion, you were logging into the server on a residential VPN. We recommend you stop ban evading and after a long period of time try to appeal properly. If you ignore this we will start banning your 'friends' from the server and you will lessen any future chances of an appeal.

Edit: We have since spoken to Estagol and asked various questions to help us better understand the situation. We had multiple points of evidence and reasons to believe they were not who they claimed to be, however almost all of them can now be explained. As a result of this, we are confident enough that they are who they claim to be and have been unbanned. It was a bit of a perfect storm of events and we got this one wrong. We hold our hands up and apologise to Estagol for the time they have spent getting this resolved.
