Hello Loka community and staff, im Exploite and on the 1st of August 2023 I was banned for cheating during the duels in ranked season in Loka. For the first weeks I felt quite sad, since I had some friends who were still playing in the server, and I felt separated from them because there weren’t many other server’s to play on, but after a while the only option left for myself was to genuinely go out and touch grass.
After spending most of my time during the ban outside, talking with a lot of people including some of my friends online, I was able to spot the misdemeanours and the trouble my actions caused, I noticed that they were really petty and egotistical, where basically I wouldn’t allow myself to believe that sometimes I would be the one in the wrong, or the other person would be in the right depending on the situations and this mindset is what prompted me to begin hacking in ranked, the fact that I wouldn’t accept a misplay from my side, or the opponent being better. Now, looking at my actions from an outside perspective I am able to see how “cringey” my behaviour was, not being able to take a loss when you should, and being overly happy when winning, I was taking it way too seriously and I am embarrassed from just remembering it.
The reason I am creating this appeal is for a chance to redeem myself from my mistakes and just spend time with my online friends, I am not asking for an immediate unban, but a ban reduction to a temporary one could be argued for. Even if it is just my word, I would like to state that I have never cheated during conquests or rivis, out of simple respect for my friends and the community that were playing with me in voice chat and having fun. I believe I can prove that I am sincerely very apologetic about this whole incident, and that I can prove myself to be a person who truly respects the rules in LokaMC.
To end this appeal off, I would like to once again sincerely apologize to the Loka staff for having their time wasted to freeze me and talk to me, in this case, I did the best that I could have done and instantly admitted that I was cheating so they could rightfully ban me because honestly as I said before I was quite embarrassed for cheating. I would obviously also like to apologize to the Loka community for my lack of integrity and wasting their time and elo while I was cheating, im sorry, and I apologize.
