What you think is expected of this rank: I think a good sentry is someone who is not only helpful to the community and staff but also trusted and respected by the community and staff. A good sentry I believe would do their best to keep chats moderated, help out new (and old) players as best as they can, and overall be a positive asset to the server and community.
Why you think you should become this rank: During my time on loka and being someone who regularly pvp's whether it be in Loka's gank isle or during ranked seasons, I have noticed that the number of cheaters/hackers on loka has sky rocketed. As an experienced pvper myself, I am quite knowledgeable when it comes to identifying suspicious pvp behaviour. I have done my absolute best as a settler to attempt to rid of these cheaters and bring attention to the fact that they exist. I've /reported many people with evidence, and started threads on Loka's discord to get public opinion, although those threads sometimes turn into a heated argument therefore I have refrained from doing so. While a sentry's responsibility does not usually include ssing or banning cheaters, I believe that if I was accepted as a sentry I would be able to use that as a platform to fulfill my mission to bring as much light onto the cheaters who play Loka as possible. That way, guardians can find an easier time ssing and banning the common daily cheaters on the server. Of course, I do not simply wish to become sentry to bring attention to cheaters. LokaMC has become my main server for a while and I've grown quite attached to it. Due to this, I would be absolutely honored to be given a role on the server where I can be a positive component to the community and make meaningful changes to the server. Even something as little as assisting a player in guide chat, it would be much more meaningful to me if I did it as a sentry. I also have very good experience with moderating minecraft servers. I was previously staff, senior mod to be specific, on SMPEarth Public for over a year (~2022-2023.) SMPEarth Public is an earth towny siegewar server with some similar functions to LokaMC. During my time as staff on SMPEarth, I attained invaluable and critical skills which would make me an exceptional addition and asset to Loka's staff team. I also regularly handled tickets on SMPEarth, which we called mod mails, as well as strictly enforced the chat and server rules. I am very patient with new players, open minded, collaborative, and hard working. I am aware that there are a number of people on Loka who are not fond of me, and that is a-okay. However, I am asking that I'm given a chance because I firmly believe that if I was accepted as a Sentry I would do great work and only improve LokaMC. Thank you for considering my application.
When you started playing on the server: I first joined LokaMC on the 29th of May, 2022 where I was a recruit. I started actively playing in 2024 where my friend Hrwa and I explored the mechanics of the server and familiarized ourselves. LokaMC became my main server in 2025.
