Free Sokou - Let Her Run For LCR

Aren't the criteria for LCR written out plainly? Why should an exception be made in this case, and not the others where people got denied for not meeting them?

My fellow lokans,

For 10 years I’ve been a loyal crafter. I’ve seen EVERY SINGLE VALYRIA and more. Throughout this time I’ve become increasingly aware of the lack of representation for woman on the server. When LCRs were first announced, I tried my best to change this. I petitioned and petitioned but alas, no change came. And NOW I try once more, and even worse happens.. I am silenced.

Ask yourself, is this the people you want deciding who you get to vote for? Is this how a democratically elected person FOR THE PEOPLE should be selected? You choose a worse option because the best is silenced?

Over the last three months, I’ve contributed significantly to the organisation and running of the SV tournament. Presenting it for the whole Loka audience to enjoy. Yet none of this has been considered when discussing my activity.

These votes should be based on who has the best intentions for the Loka people, and who has contributed significantly to the Loka experience. Both of which I have achieved.

Let’s run this back and try again

I believe the issue here is that the policy used to decide activity is outdated when you consider all that goes on behind the scenes to organise and run some of the largest scale events on Loka.

Can't it be said an automated system, that everyone knows about, is the fairest way to determine activity? Considering any other kind of activity will inevitably lead to staff-bias, whereas setting a minimal in-game, system-measured activity gate ensures that everyone is on a level playing field.

Other activities as you describe are of course incredibly important, and are a big part of the "campaign" for LCR, gaining you many votes and support. But it doesn't to me imply that it should be able to replace the starting criteria that everyone has to meet to be eligible.
