What you think is expected of this rank:
The primary expectation of a Sentry should be to keep chat enjoyable for all to use. It should be clean, friendly, and welcoming. On top of that, Sentries should relieve some of the workload of the Guardians, and assist them in any way possible. As well as assisting Guardians, they should be able to assist any member of the Lokan community, and serve as responsible role models within the server. They should also remain calm and fair during any stressful situations that may arise during their moderation tasks.
Why you think you should become this rank:
As many will know, I'm very active on the server, and would therefore want to use this time to benefit the server. I've been around for over a year, and as a result have a great deal of experience with Loka and its rules. If I were to be promoted to Sentry, I would make use of this experience by, continuing to provide help and support to anyone who needs assistance, and maintaining order in the public chats and Discord. I am friendly and approachable so that players can feel that they can approach me with any incident. Its important that as a sentry I am respectful to all players and treat everyone the same.

How often do you play (hours a day/week): With school starting around 1-2 hours a day on school days, and around 4-5 hours a day on weekends.
 
Galaxy is an amazing candidate for Sentry! No questions asked. Since I've known him, he's always been helpful, calm, and approachable. He's also one of the kindest and friendliest people I know, I'm really glad to be friends with him :>

Gal is super nice and has a really good understanding between toxic and not toxic punishable and not punishable etc. Therefore +1

Purposely tries to antaganize people, immature, toxic, rude, ignorant, only has any common decency around people he wants to impress or people that will say something about the way he acts.

It is easy for anybody galaxy sides with to upvote him however to be a member of Loka staff you can't be bias or target a group/person with your Ill feelings toward them.

Galaxy doesn't have the qualities a sentry should have and will not be able to put aside his personal feelings for the good of the server. I want to be clear I am not trying to bash galaxy, I am just speaking based off of personal experience and others past experiences with him. I really think if he were to show some change that he should re-apply and I would be happy to upvote.

+1 from me Gal is an amazing person and deserving of Sentry
 
+1, can't really say I had any bad experiences with him ever even especially when being around him in Strom

Maybe once upon a time I saw Galaxy as a mean old biased pvper, but thats just cuz I was against him in pvp. Nowadays I never hear him talk crap about anyone and he always seems calm and respectful when talking to anyone, I think he'd make a good Sentry
 
+1, Never had any problems with him, nor have i seen him be toxic towards anyone in loka general chat. He's also a nice person and helps me out whenever i need it.

I think gal is a fun person, but that doesn't make him qualified for the Sentry position. I haven't been too active on Loka, but I've known gal for a while on other servers and seen him in many Discord chats. I've seen him be calm and fair like he says, but I've also seen him snap at people and show toxic behavior over the smallest things. This has happened any where from other servers, to alliance chats, and even the Loka server. If he were to be promoted, he should have to show the same behavior he promises Loka on most other MC servers, other games, and all platforms. To reiterate, gal is a nice guy and has his good features, but he isn't a good fit for any more promotion.

+1 Gal is a dedicated person and deserves sentry. Some people might just see the conquest side but if they actually talk with him they would see he is fun too. I’ve seen some pretty terrible sentries in the past that did show favoritism or unfairness. Galaxy has been active on Loka for an entire year which is more than some sentries actually have been on our favorite server. He does make good judgement calls and does respect everyone. Most of the -1s are from players who never see Galaxy outside of conquest. People can be more competitive when they PvP and that should not be held against him. He would be a fantastic sentry !

Everyone who gave him -1 has fought with him in conquest and spoken to him outside of it
 
Gal is a good boi. Gal has many friend bois.

But being a Sentry isn't just about befriending people on the server.

I honestly don't know Galaxy all too much, all around I think he's a fairly decent guy from my own interactions but I also have seen the random snaps he has over little things towards people he doesn't like. One thing I worry about is judging cases unfairly due to someone being a friend. Do I think Galaxy has the potential to be a good Sentry? Yes. I mean most people do, its not all too hard of a job. The hardest part of being a Sentry is dealing with people who get triggered at you for muting them for spamming a bit saying its "bias because you don't do that to your friends".

From my personal experience I feel Galaxy would take such things as a more personal insult and possibly lash out in some way.

On the other hand, he asked for opinions in two discords that I am a part of. One of which was filled with friends who would obviously support him and the other... well the opposite pretty much. Whether he knew the second discord was going to react negatively or not I do not know. If he knew this would probably happen then I applaud him looking for honest feedback. And he certainly has been getting that.

Honestly I don't know what my own vote is one this situation. All I know is Galaxy has many friends that have seen his best side and there are also a good number of people that have seen the other side of the coin supposedly. Quite frankly, and I don't mean this to be rude, I don't see exactly what makes Galaxy stand out among others of Loka for him to be promoted to Sentry. I don't recall much initiative being taken to help or better the community anymore than your usual active.

You do stick out among Settlers/Nomads obviously, and thus I feel slicer is perfect for you and you can continue to prove you are a valuable part of the Lokan family.

Now obviously some things I have said may be wrong, this is just my gut feeling or personal observation as someone who has only recently been hanging out with people from Iblis so I can have a better perspective on the server. And this is just what that perspective has given me so far. No I won't be giving any positive, negative, or neutral numbers on this. Think of this as an overall opinion and take what you will out of this mystical Skyman of promotions, nobody is perfect after all.
