Hello everyone! My name is gimabis and I have been banned for 2 years and 3 months. During this period I have not used any alt accounts, or tried to evade my ban in any sort of way. I have also kept a large distance from the community.
First of all, I would like to reiterate the reason for my ban, although this explanation is present in my numerous previous appeals. Up until I finished high school I was overall an extremely toxic person, often using slurs, hate speech and discriminating others online for their nationality. To be completely honest, I said those insults not because I really meant them, but because it was a normal thing for me: back then I was part of a community who used to often push boundaries, make edgy jokes and mock others for fun. I wasn’t a bad person, but I quite easily fell to peer pressure, making me act the same way as the others did, if not worse.. Looking back, I’ve realized only in the past year the severity of my actions after mostly being inactive in the Minecraft community due to me starting university, and only now see that even words online can hurt people, especially in the case of discrimination. You never really know how the person behind the screen you’re being toxic to really is in terms of emotions. I would also like to apologize to the staff team for wasting their time after being muted again for hate speech, right after the mute was lifted, due to me using hate speech in a discord server literally right after the appeal had been accepted. I was genuinely such an immature person back then and I perfectly understand the staff team rejecting my previous appeals
I would like to apologize once again to the Chinese community because of my harrassment towards its members, especially LancerSquid. As I have said in my previous appeal, I have tried my best to reach out to every player I had negatively affected. I don't quite recall if someone else still holds grudges over my past actions.
Thank you for reading up until the end of my appeal. I personally believe that Loka is an amazing server and I’d really love to play it again. My ban really made me miss how much fun I had in conquest fights and at cove and zyre ganks. I also really miss playing with the Dawnstar Community, the Italians in Invicta and a lot of other people who consider me a friend.
Finally, I wish for the staff and the community to consider not only the length of my ban, which happened over 2 years ago, but also to accept my apology and understand that I am not the same person I was back in 2024. I hope you will accept this.
