With the heavy limits on territory these days it is really annoying to give a new allied town territory that you already own. Currently you have to release it and wait 6 hours and take it back, just proposing a way for this process that is less annoying. I've tried to think about how this suggestion could be a negative thing, only thing I can come up with is that I guess a new town could be made in this transfer but the alliance would prevent that from happening anyways. I think this is just a good QoL change.

I think this could be a useful feature, though there are two things that would concern me. Those being that when an alliance releases land to transfer to a town within the alliance, it opens the territory up for grabs by another town/alliance or for a town/alliance to stop the claim. This creates a window for potential conflict be it a race to claim the tile before the alliance scoops it back up or a surprise attack while the alliance is fighting the neutral tile. The first part wouldn't be an issue if the territory isn't open to be claimed by other towns.

Similarly with your point that you've made here, I feel like it is pretty likely that in any or most case(s), any attempt by another town to steal a tile would be stopped by the alliance, but my main concern is that an alliance should have to go through that process, so that it at least gives smaller towns/alliances an opportunity to do something. Or, perhaps, there could be some sort of arrangement made with nearby towns to okay immediate transfers. Unsure.


EDIT: I've edited this post several times as I kept thinking about new things/changed my mind on some things whilst writing and after posting.
