Hello Loka, it has been around 4 months since my departure from the Loka Chat, and I am here to appeal my wrong doings.
A little before my mute, me and my dear friend Tgshalo were having some friendly banter in the public chat. We chatted back and forth and most of my contributions involved the usage of fat-phobic terms. In no way did I intend to hurt Tgshalo with these words, and he even claimed that they had no effect on him later in my private messages (as shown below). This little incident got me a small 5 minute mute, but it did act as an warning for future actions, and in my ignorance I blatantly, and wrongly ignored these warnings.
A couple of days after this warning, I was chatting with some of my polish buddies in which I was questioning the IGN of "GrubyGibby". I was told his name was translated from polish to "Fat Gibby" in English, this resulted in me asking a question of "Well, how would I say you're fat in polish". After receiving a response of "Jestes Gruby" I began to say it in public chat with relation to no one at all. I was not intending to be hurtful to other players and I was simply using it for fun, as I did not address anyone in the name calling. After saying it 2-3 times, I recieved a permeant mute for my behavior, and this being the second time ive been muted, I knew it was going to be for a while.
The reason I have came to appeal much earlier than I think would be accepted, is due to the misinterpretation of my actions. Sure, I understand that it could be hurtful to people currently undergoing issues about their weight, or people self conscious about things of that nature. But I did not mean no offense to it, and I think the staff who issued the mute thought I was saying it while referring to a specific someone, when in fact I was not. I would still like to admit I was in the wrong, as I was previously warned about making comments on weight and body appearance but I ignored them, which is why I would like to deeply apologies. I am sorry for my immature actions that might have unsettled some of my fellow Lokans, and I can truly promise that nothing like this will ever occur again. I would also like to say sorry to the staff members, specifically Reiwa, or I wrongly disrespected and ignored him after him issuing me a kind warning, instead of perma muting me on the spot.
