I have never seen him help anyone, and he has almost no messages in guide chat.
I don't like the idea that he should be sitting in guide chat 24/7 and answer questions for become slicer, from the comments I see he contributed to the server/player base in some way if he's being liked that much. I'd agree with the idea if he were applying for sentry which is kind of requirements of sentry
Sentry assisting new players and answering all questions in chat.
Slicer is an honorary rank given to those who have played on Loka regularly, not those camp guide chat, Slicers shouldn't have responsibilties since they are not like staff or moderator. Ya players can get slicer easily if they are active in guide chat but not being active in guide chat should not be a "-1" reason he's overall pretty chill, known, kind and loved member of the player which should be enough to honor him with this rank

Hana has been a friendly and amazing player in our community. They are always the best person to have spawn conversations even with the language barrier and huge timezone difference! Lets keep talking more about our home country's cuisines and culture at spawn, Hana! :praise:

Slicer is indeed an honorary rank given to those who are good examples and help the community. I didn't -1 just because of the lack of guide messages; I -1ed because I have never seen him talk or help anyone, either in public chat or guide chat.

(Magpies message in the slicer nomination post:
Conduct
  • Slicers are expected to set a good example for other players by closely following all the rules and being a friendly, helpful member of the community. )
Most new Slicers nowadays just get it because they beg their friends to nominate them, even though they have never been a good example or helped anyone. Most of them get it eventually, though.

If everyone just stayed silent in chat and still got nominated for Slicer, we might as well give the whole server Slicer, making it practically useless.

I'll tell you what, I walked up to Hannaaaaaaaaaa, and said "gl". Nothing else. And, instead of responding with "ok bro", or another closed phrase, he actually responded with manners. He contradicted my lack of pleasantries with a surplus of them. To my surprise, he replied "Thank you, how are you doing?" By doing this, he utterly astounded me. He made me reflect upon my own lack of decency brought on by a culture of normalising blatant communication, reminding me of the standards I had once held myself to. The moral of this tale: do not resort to the lowest common denominator of your surroundings. Be like Hanaaaaaaaaaa.
