Just wanted make folks aware of a recent ban wave we have had to institute.
We were recently made aware that the Deszczowka Alliance had setup a new Discord that can only really be described as an entire "n-word Discord". As the entirety of this Discord centered around this slur and further hate speech (including server name, channel names, most of its roles and a good majority of all of its chat), we decided to take action. We have banned the leaders as well as worst offenders, including those who repeated slurs consistent with notes they already had involving hate speech.
Quite simply, hate speech has no place on Loka and while we are not ignorant to what is said on the internet and VCs, this Discord was so overwhelmingly hateful that we felt strongly we needed to act. While we do our best to leave "private discords" alone, ones that harbor hate at this level of intensity cannot be ignored and we do not consider Loka to be a home for anyone who exhibits this kind of behavior.
Hopefully this can be a warning to others as well as a learning experience.
