There is a new mod that gives us more detailed stats about a tamed horse
I.e. Jump height, health, speed.

Might be neat to look into.

While this sounds greatly practical, a huge part of horse-breeding and stat-maxing, is having to test every horse you get, which increases the time spent on the horses and naturally, time spent playing on the server. If testing horses was incredibly mind-numbing, than I would say this mod is a great thing, but I personally prefer to test all the horses and have some log with their stats on a book or something.

A big part of the difficulty in breeding for stats in horses is having to test and keep track of each horse's stats. We don't want to make it easier unless there's a good reason, otherwise we'll keep things how Mojang intended.
