Yo,
I was banned yesterday for using a mod called betterpvp mod , I know that it sounds weird but all that it does is adding armour durability hud , health indicator , effects timer and in general a mod that contains everything you will need for PvP and some other useless stuff which I dont even remember.Also minimap is intergraded in the mod which is the second reason I got banned , which I don't even use.All in all I think they banned me because Its not a very common mod and its not from curseforge or modrthin .I am playing on the server like a month or two and I have 2 kills (one was a naked guy) and around 30 deaths am low-key ass.
I never wanted to break the rules of the server and I never intended to cheat.I am playing on the server to have fun with friends.I understand that because it's an unknown mod, and. it might be a lit bit suspicious having a mod that none knows about , I have already deleted and i have replaced it with other mods from curses forge.

I sincerely apologise for the misunderstanding and respectfully ask you to reconsider the ban.

well, ignorance of the rules does not exempt from non-compliance

another thing is, you wouldn't get banned if the mod didn't give you any competitive advantage, and even if you didn't use the minimap but it had a feature that was forbidden - how is staff supposed to know that you actually didn't use the forbidden features?

i took a look at the mod and it has TWO versions, one that is "non-fair play" and the "fair-play" one, if you didn't use the "fair-play" one, that's kinda on you, as the "non fair-play" has some questionable features.
