Currently, the runic tales is probably one of the most thorough and enjoyable questlines on loka, only contested by the waterstone questline. Its confined to a fairly small area while still giving alot of content, makes use of multiple zones around Aladra, and has some intruiging lore behind it too.
However, what this questline is severely lacking on is its rewards. As far as i am aware, the rewards for completing this questline are the uncommon "Runic" title, which i have absolutely no problem with its a good cosmetic, and a thing banner pattern.
This is where i see the main problem in this questlines rewards. The thing banner pattern simply is too common nowadays to be an appropriate reward for this fairly long questline (13 pages) considering you can simply hit the witch hunter a few times to obtain one 10 times easier.
Looking at other comparable questlines in length and complexity, the waterstone questline gives the waterstone, an incredibly powerful tool for grinding that you will never lose as well as a legendary achievement, and the Time-Lost Cataclysm questline gives you a massive 200 orbs as well as an epic achievement. Compared to these questlines, the Runic Tales quest falls comparatively short, while having a similar level of difficulty and time consumption
I believe that at bare minimum, an epic achievement should be rewarded at the end of the questline, along with a replacement to the thing banner pattern being either orbs, an additional unique themed cosmetic, or even a new soulbound item, maybe the "Archaeologists Brush" which would be a brush or maybe an "Archeology Badge" which would be idk a iron nugget or something, doesn't have to be a complex soulbound item or anything just something cool to keep in your sb bag.
If anybody else has any ideas on what the new rewards for this questline could be, include them below, maybe you got better ideas than i do
