Amethyst shards can be used for tinted glass, armor trim color, and other decorative blocks that can be used for building. I dont know how exactly it would be added, maybe with a new biome in the future or adding a special recipe.

+1 Loka needs to add a way to obtain these cool blocks. There are so many cool building blocks that are unobtainable / very expensive since theres either no way to grind them or its based on fishing/daily ore spawns at the Docks of Aladra.
