Which rank are you applying for: Sentry
What do you think is expected of this rank: While being on the server, I have learned that being a sentry is basically a helper of the admins, someone to look over the server while there aren't any higher admins on, and to make sure everything stays intact and together while things are being prepared. A sentry also makes sure that the public chat and new players are staying in line, while also providing the answers needed for any questions asked across the board. Being able to uphold the integrity of the server is also a job for the sentry, showing that the staff understand that although Minecraft is a game, it is one for all age groups and should be held to that standard.

Why do you think you should become this rank: Although I have a few anger management issues that I am currently working on, as you all know, I really enjoy being able to help the servers that I play on. Multiple players, new or old, who are on the server have told me that I should try and apply for a higher position. Although I have only been slicer for a short time, I feel as though I have helped a lot of players with questions, as well as been online almost everyday to help said players.

How often do you play: Everyday for at least 6 hours. Mostly between the times of 3pm EST and 2 am EST. On and off of course . Gotta take a break sometime

And throughout all of this, even if I am not considered, I would like to thank you guys for the opportunity to even apply for this Although there has been drama lately, I really love this server and hope to play on it for a long time.

As much as I would like to see more Sentries, I am going to have to disagree with your application.

Becoming a Sentry gives you access to a set of impactful commands that cannot ever be misused (/ban, /kick, /mute). You mentioned in your application that you were working on anger issues. That's perfectly reasonable and I can respect your openness in admitting to character flaws, but I feel that your anger issues should be resolved before applying for a staff position, otherwise giving you access to Sentry commands would be a liability. In addition, I recall two instances in recent times where a staff member tried to inform you of the rules and was ignored/told off. Ignorance of the rules in a person entrusted with enforcing some of those rules doesn't make much sense to me.

I'm not saying you shouldn't ever be promoted to Sentry, just that you need more time. I can see myself agreeing with a Sentry application from you in the future.

The reason I even put that bit in my application is I'd rather be honest, than hide things from the staff. I already know I won't be promoted, I'm not dense and idiotic. But I'd rather have my name in their minds than not at all.
