Should killing livestock be ok? Are there ways (plugins) to protect livestock?

Zor thought that mooshrooms and villagers should be protected as are rare, where as all other livestock can be killed. What are peoples thoughts on the matter?

What about a minor penalty for killing the animals the town worships? Other than that, sure

I searched for a couple hours and found only one animal plugin that requires Worldguard so it isn't much use.

Well, to be honest... what's the point? If you do this, killing crops should be allowed too. I mean, it's the same premise, except crops are easier to get- if you'd look down at "More Pigs in Loka", you'll see that getting animals is an issue for some people, and killing them for no real benefit shouldn't be allowed. If it is allowed, well, close your doors. And put 4-layered block walls in front of them. And then cover that barn with obsidian.

well after the whole deadly escapade. it took us FOREVER to get more pigs. and on top of that we found a book saying he was trying to find our mooshroom and luckily never did. Ask zor about that whole process on how he had to minecart them all the way from pallets island to HC. yea that was a bitch. so of course im in for protection of the animals.
