Which rank you are applying for: Sentry
What you think is expected of this rank: I think the primary role of a Sentry is to ensure that players are achieving the best experience possible, whether that be making sure chat is clean, or reporting game breaking bugs to their higher ups. It's expected of Sentry's to keep a level head in times of drama and debate, and to keep arguments to a level where it is safe for all ages. It's also key that they maintain not only chat, but show to players the right way to act, and to serve as a role model to newer, and even veteran players. This role is the first line of defense to fending off toxicity and protecting all age groups on Loka, especially from experiencing encounters which one would deem inappropriate and uncivil. It's expected that this role, and all roles, understand the rules, and are able to justifiably enact them when the time comes. This is more than just power, but a major responsibility, as the Sentry is who players look up to, and with that, the Sentry should not abuse this power for personal benefit, or to enact any vengeance or hostility to threaten, belittle, or intimidate players who are against them.
Why you think you should become this rank: I've played Loka for a considerable amount of time now (Maybe not as much as others, but still a good amount that I would deem to be more than the average player). In this time, I've realized that this is one of the best communities out there, with all sorts of players who are amazing at what they do, and I wish to cherish that and to help keep it clean, to try to increase its longevity. I love this community with every fiber in my being, and I would do what is necessary to make sure that this environment is a safe haven for every player. I have worked alongside players and other staff members to host community events (Ones not posted on forums, but just ones stated previously and planned out), and I will continue to do so. I want only to try to benefit the server in every way possible, and make it a fun place for everybody to relax and have fun.
