Suggestion Loka’s Economy and Resource Isles

There are a couple of reasons why players have become so rich on Loka over the past couple months and why it’s been difficult to remove shards from the economy.

First of all, ever since the RI’s became Yellow Tagged, it’s never been easier to make money. For example, I personally get around 20–25k from Garama RI and about 23–28k from Kalros RI. Just by consistently running these RI’s, I can make about 100k per week, with the only risk being losing 50% of my ores. And that’s without even doing Ascalon RI. If I did Ascalon twice a week, I could easily earn over a shulker of cores (110K) PER WEEK just from mining.

I understand that yellow tagged resource isles were added to help newer players grind shards more easily. However, I don’t think this change should have been made without first reducing ore spawn rates or introducing red tagged RI’s to balance it out. If red tagged RI’s are going to be added in the future and presumably have more ores than yellow tagged RI’s, it doesn’t make sense that the current yellow tagged RI’s already have the same ore amounts as the old red tagged RI’s.

TLDR: it makes no sense that yellow tagged ris have the same amount of ores as red tagged ones.

We've discussed this with the LCRs, but the intention is to adjust the rates of the RIs.

The long-term plan is also to add a red-tagged RI and have yellow-tagged RIs be solely for new players. However, those are a long way off, and we want the server to still be accessible to new players in the meantime.

Will items or shards from players be taken away at one point or another?
