Backstory/ Introduction
Hello Loka 6 1/2 months ago I was banned for hacking using Doomsday client. I was hacking for about 3 weeks before I got screenshared and shortly banned. The mods I applied on Doomsday were xray/block esp, and tracers. The reason for me using cheats was because around that time my town had been raided and it was hard to keep my town up, and I felt I wasn’t making enough money. When my town was raided I became paranoid and I used tracers to try and find where the raiders came from. After the raid I also felt bad for my members who had lost their loot so to repay them I went to RI and gave them money. The combination of all this is what made me start using doomsday to xray at RI and tracers to catch raiders. I had to keep up my town, repay my members, and because of this I felt I was not making enough money. At the end, I ended up getting banned and caught no raiders.
Amends:
During the 6 months that I have been banned, I have taken a break from my computer, the people I played with and the Loka community. During this time, I have become more focused on school and focused time on basketball. Basketball has helped me change my mentality, and made me realize that you can’t cheat in life even if it’s on a video game. I have also taken a break from social media and have focused on bettering myself. I now commit myself to being honest, fair, and respectful. I have also thought about my actions, I realized that while I was trying to do something good for my town members/ town I went against the server rules and cheated. I harmed other players for my own benefit. Even though I only used xray/ block esp, and tracers, this does not make it any better. I harmed the community, wasted staff time, and broke the rules. I now fully understand that under no circumstances is cheating okay. Recently, I logged back on minecraft again and reconnected with some of the Loka community members. This made me further reflect about the wrongs I committed, not because they are able to play Loka and I’m not, but because I made a stupid mistake for a short duration of benefits and pleasure. I understand that its not about the game, but understanding that my actions brought me heavy consequences.
During all my time on the server I have not used any sorts of cheats other than those 3 weeks. I am sorry to all the Loka players who I have hurt and lied to and strongly regret my actions. I understand that it was foolish of me to try and use cheats while other players have to grind normally without any advantage. I want to clarify that I NEVER used combat cheats while on my time on the server and again mention that the only moments I turned on Doomsday was when I was at RI. I also want to mention that I didn’t use any tracer mods while mining at RI because I didn’t want to kill anyone mining, I only had them enabled for the reasons listed above and it was only for 1 day.
Conclusion:
To start off, I want to make an apology to ChickPro. ChickPro, you were the person who SS'd me and even though I allowed you to SS me immediately, I let you search my computer for almost an hour thinking that I could have gotten away with it instead of admitting IMMEDIATELY (I ended up admitting further on into the SS or after I can't remember) most importantly I wasted your time and I was a fool thinking I was slick enough to get away with what I did. Whether it is a loss of trust, or respect I respectfully and deeply apologize to ChickPro and all the other Staff and as well as the Lokan community. My ban is an example to not use cheats no matter the temporary advantages because eventually you would meet the setting and long term consequences, that is the lesson I learned from my ban. I've been on and off of Loka for 3 years, being most active during summer of 2024-December 2024-Till my ban. And as an active player of Loka I can recommend to other Lokans who also love to play actively, to not harm the server like I did. Whether it is in other forms like "Hate Speech", "Harrasment", "Alting", etc. And as in my case "Hacking" I can assure you that it is not worth your time doing any of these things, it can break trust and affect yourself and the community badly.
Further Proof:
I want to end my appeal off on this segment because there has been suspicion from Staff whether I have used any of the other(most importantly combat) hacks included in Doomsday Client. As you can see in both these screen shots, I can assume that it is hard to see for most people but I added "image2crop" because I had enhanced the colors and it personally made it easier to read, but I also added the original image just in case other people find it easier to read (image1crop). So what is showcased in these screenshots is Me caught in c train with the Doomsday client open. It definitely makes me look worse but the backstory behind this is that I was killed at RI by a player named "ResThree" he may be familiar to some but during my RI Run I was also messaging an old friend of mine named "crotz" because he wanted to try out the server and since I had my own town I offered to invite him to my town and show him the fundamentals, so since I was ganked by ResThree I didn't see myself going back to RI so I thought it was the perfect time to get Crotz on. Again, I know the screenshots are hard to see but what's obvious to spot is the Client's Gui in the middle of my screen. As I mentioned before that I only used the client for RI you can see my crosshair under the "Render" tab which is where you access "block esp" and "Xray" which I had both used, I was disabling these mods because I was seeing ores under the C train map which was unnecessary to have and was affecting my FPS. I can support this because for the few frames that appeared when I hovered over "block esp" a little color chart appears which happens because the client gives you the option to choose the outline for the selected blocks you have(in my case it was diamonds, emeralds, and redstone) It was just very unlucky and wrong place at the wrong time, but a few hours later I did end up going back to RI when I got froze and banned.
My finals screenshot added here (crotz) was to prove that I added crotz to my town discord server, geared him up, and got into C train with him. I blocked this persons name because they were the ones to take the screenshot which ended up getting me banned. I don't blame them for taking this screenshot, it was the right thing to do but I dont think they feel comfortable being revealed. If you have interest in /finding "crotz" in game I doubt it would show that he logged on recently, and that the last time he logged on was around the same time when I got banned.
Disclaimer: I definitely don't expect getting unbanned off this appeal as even I think that is too soon, but I hope I do and hopefully even a temporary ban. I just wanted to recap everything and document where I currently stand 6 1/2 months after my ban. Thank you all for reading my appeal
