Below is a list of our rules. Note that admins do not necessarily judge these rules to the letter, and that attempting to skirt the rules may still end up with a punishment. Some of these rules are left intentionally vague, others can be clearly defined. In any case, consider these a set of guidelines rather than a set-in-stone list of precise rulings.

1. No Griefing
1.1. Don't destroy anything a player has built unless a rule states otherwise.

• You may break a player's building to gain entry, providing minimum damage is caused.
• Don't place inordinate amounts of blocks all over a build.
• Don’t destroy another player's redstone.
• Don't destroy another player’s crops or farmland, except for wheat, which may be trampled to gather wheat.
• Don't change or remove another player’s writings on signs.

1.2. Do not kill or release other players’ animals or mobs.

• You may steal mounts being ridden or used in PvP.
• Unnamed mounts may be stolen at any time.

1.3. Don't cause unnecessary damage to the landscape.
1.4. Settling a town over ruins or other structures, only to destroy them, is considered griefing.
1.5. No one-by-one block towers unless you remove them immediately after use.
1.6. Don't unnecessarily destroy, craft, or consume other players’ items.

• You may steal, but don't destroy chests and leave items to disappear or burn the items.
• Once the items are back at your home or town, you may do as you wish with them.

1.7. You may not steal in sanctuaries.

• This includes spawn, docks, festivals, etc.
• This does not include combat.

1.8. The following placed blocks may be stolen regardless of whether they make up part of another player’s structure: Ore blocks (except Coal Blocks), enchanting tables, anvils, brewing stands, juke box, rails, heads, banners, shulker boxes, beacons, hoppers, ender chests, item frames, and the items inside them.
1.9. No TNT, piston, or redstone-based entry.

• This includes poking holes in walls, using flying machines, etc.

2. No Client Side Mods or Xray Resource Packs
2.1. Only mods with approved features or that have been directly approved on our Approved Client Side Mod List may be used on Loka, regardless of whether or not they give the player an in-game advantage.
2.2. No resource packs that make any blocks transparent that are not transparent in the default pack.
2.3. No macros or autoclickers

• This includes lowering mouse debounce time.

2.4. If you are suspected of using illegal mods, clients, cheats, or macros, you will be frozen and screenshared.

• If you log out during a screenshare, it will result in a permanent ban.

3. Don't Abuse Bugs
3.1. Don't abuse any bug, whether it be a bug with Minecraft or a feature of the server.

• No block jumping in protected areas.
• Don't attempt to glitch break blocks or open locked doors/gates in protected areas to access chests, etc.
• Don't use vehicles to pass through walls.
• Don't abuse transparent blocks/TNT to x-ray.

3.2. Please report any bugs found immediately using /report. Do not inform others about the bug or use it yourself.

• Failure to report players who are abusing bugs/breaking rules will result in a ban.

4. No Spamming Chat
All chat rules apply equally to our Discord Server.
4.1. Do not spam chat

• This includes capitals, arguments, death messages, private messages, and repeating the same thing multiple times.

4.2. Please use English when talking in public chat. We have a very diverse population, but we ask that you speak English in Public Chats. We have designated public chats for different languages, which can be found in /ch.
4.3. Don't claim to be from Planet Minecraft.

5. No Swearing or Offensive Behaviour
All chat rules apply equally to our Discord Server.
5.1. Don't use any words in public or local chat that could be seen as offensive, as all ages play on the server.
5.2. No harassment, discrimination, hate speech, or trolling.

• Do not purposefully agitate or disrupt the community by means of harassment or trolling.

5.3 No offensive speech or visual expressions in-game.

• This includes usernames, items, skins, capes, builds, etc.
• Doing this with any item (including Lore Scrolled items) will result in the item being deleted.

5.4. Do not discuss or mention real-life religious or political subjects.
5.5. We do not moderate town or alliance chat channels unless we are required to in cases of hate speech or harassment.

6. Don't Bully Other Players
This rule applies anywhere (any platform), not just on the server. Loka brings players together, so we feel we have a responsibility to protect them outside of the server, too. Click here if you want more info on the types of bullying. If you feel you are being bullied, please contact Raddus_ or Magpieman.
6.1. Don't dox another player (this includes posting their name, image, etc.), even if they have shared this themselves.

• We take this very seriously, and it will result in a permanent ban.

6.2. Don't blackmail another player.
6.3. Don't repeatedly kill the same player.
6.4. Don't camp in a town or around docks.
6.5. Don't spoil films, TV shows, or games.

7. No Alt Accounts
7.1. Alt accounts are not allowed on Loka.

• If you want to use a different Minecraft account, you can transfer by making a ticket in our Discord.

7.2. You cannot log onto another player’s account or allow them to log onto yours.
7.3. Do not knowingly assist or knowingly interact with players who are ban-evading or logging in on alts.

• This includes vouching for players who are alting.

7.4. VPNs and Proxy Servers are not allowed.

• This includes any service that changes your Public IP Address (SurfShark, NordVPN, ExitLag, etc.).

8. Don't Betray Your Town
8.1. You cannot steal from your own town.
8.2. You cannot help a foreign player get into or steal from your town.
8.3. You cannot use a member of a town to help you enter or steal from said town.
8.4. You cannot return to a town you have left for 2 weeks to raid or PvP.
8.5. You cannot raid a town as a temporary builder.
8.6. Do not maliciously use town permissions to the detriment of the town

• This includes removing members, deleting zones, opening vulnerability windows, etc.

8.7. The full owner of a town has ownership over all items within it. It is impossible for them to steal from their own town. They may take, destroy, or edit anything within their town.

9. No Advertising
9.1. Don't ask other players to join a server or write another server’s IP in public chat.
9.2. Do not advertise real-life trading on any of Loka’s platforms. This includes in-game, the official Discord, forums, etc.

10. Do Not Lag The Server
10.1. Any lag machines, redstone contraptions, or overly large concentrations of mobs will be removed if found.

11. No Win Trading
11.1. Do not fix the result of a ranked arena match or intentionally lose.

• This will result in a minimum 1-month ban and a permanent ban from all future ranked matches. All arena titles/cosmetics earned will also be removed.

12. Miscellaneous
12.1. No hostile mob farms of any description.
12.2. No auto fishers.
12.4. Introductory and help chats should only be used to greet and help new players.

• You cannot use it to recruit for your town, etc.

12.5. Faking evidence will result in a permanent ban.

13. Staff Only
13.1 Admins are allowed to participate in PvP and conflicts, but not raiding. They are not allowed to use any admin permissions in any of these circumstances.
