When you started playing on the server:
August 4th, 2020 is my initial join date but I would say I actually started playing October 23rd 2020, after transferring my account.
Time zone:
PDT
How often do you play (hours a day/week):
I probably average an hour or so a day but usually more on the weekends. Not nearly as much as before but I am very active on Discord with tickets and the forums.
What you think is expected of this rank:
A Guardian is someone who people can look up to, a PLAYER that can maintain multiple attributes, such as:
- Great communication skills
- Respect for everyone
- No bias towards anyone/groups
In addition, a Guardian should be expected to contribute to the server in one way or another, something that benefits the community, whether that be from helping with upholding the rules, maintaining tickets, assisting players, managing reports, and being someone that anyone can go to for help on Loka.
Why you think you should become this rank:
I believe that I should become a Guardian because I believe I tick all of the boxes on what makes for a good Guardian. I communicate with staff, respect players, and haven't really been in a situation where I could be bias, so that is probably up to debate. I have contributed to Loka in many different ways. I have developed a Loka-exclusive modpack for everyone to use, as updating mods can be a hassle. Loka Fabric is now something that @brandonzx3 works on as well. I have created a repository of useful things for Lokans to use, and I have also spent countless hours creating pixel art for Loka, including the ranked icons, a handful of chat emotes, and much more for the future - Many, MANY hours were spent making the custom textures for lore swords. I have helped many players learn Loka, and intend to help many more.
I like to think that I have contributed to Loka in a lot of ways, as a player and as a Sentry, and I believe that becoming a Guardian will allow me to help in a greater capacity, with more responsibilities. I have been playing on and off for almost 4 years now, and have been a Sentry since March 2023. Was 19 then, and I am 21 now!
I hope this application bodes well, I have thought about applying for a while now and I believe now is a better time than ever! Hopefully my new username isn't confusing for people, virfy is what I went by for many many years.
