Magnus Unban appeal

You know who goes into victims' dms and then persuade them into recanting their abusers evidence and what they've done are crooks. You all should be ashamed of yourself for that especially.

Magnus has repeatedly broken the rules and has targeted players, directly or indirectly with the help of his community that still actively play loka. All of this evidence that has came out and the community that has came out to nuke this appeal and the extent it has gotten to is a direct correlation to the amount of abuse that Magnus has accrued against the Lokan Community and shows exactly why he should not return. It should not matter if half the people do not know him, it is the actions of him that have resonated through the community to allow for such a negative perception of this appeal to take place. It has also been shown that + and - 1s do not have a direct impact on just the message alone being just the rating, but the content behind the rating is what the admins look at. Thousands of people +1ing and -1ing does not make a difference if the people that -1 have ample more amount of incriminating evidence than the side of the +1 do showing any sign of reformation. You have provided no evidence as to how Magnus has changed and have silenced many people who have tried to speak out about him and his actions. The fact you are insulting people on a personal level (rolyy) on the forums is literally just a self nuke in the future.

If you want your vote to count, put normal evidence and don't just insult people. If people put their evidence on the server, do not harass them in dms (why do I have to say this bro what???) to delete it.

ur sending pictures of rolyy and quickel on the appeal of MAGNUS this has nothing to do with him 99% of the people that have -1d have never talked to magnus his life

This is a valid take, however it is very important to acknowledge appeals are based on rehabilitation and not retribution. The point of his appeal is to assess his past actions and understand he has taken accountablity for them, which evidently he has in his appeal. By closing the doors and denying this appeal it removes incentive for growth, by accepting this appeal, it not only has caused growth, but will maintain it so the rules are followed. Permanent exclusion is rarely the correct answer, and it definitely isnt in this case.

Harassment and criticism are often mixed up, harassing the people who -1 is objectively wrong however it is important to recognise critics of Magnus have been blunt and obviously biased with their negative comments. Brigading the appeal with hostility and excessive dogpiling in attempt to quote "nuke" the appeal, often writing personal attacks instead of feedback. If harassment is going to be a factor in this its definitely neccersary to acknowledge harassment from all parties instead of being selective on who is "allowed" to attack people.

Popularity has no correlation to proof, simply because of a large amount of -1's does not mean their is truth in them, shared opinions arent always correct. The +1's are well developed and have shown EVIDENT proof of histories dating back years being turned around into a more positive light in accordance to Magnus's reformation.
Mob mentality is claimed to not "impair" the appeal which is why we have unbiased appeal answerers who will filter through the comments and determine an answer.

Additionally the burden of reformation is not entirely on Magnus, I believe Magnus has changed, but in order to demonstrate this he has to be given a bit of space instead of being swarmed with -1's from an @everyone ping. A community which is built on second chances with a major population of the community being banned before, should believe in reformation and assist in the reintegration of reformed players. Watch him closely and fairly instead of locking him away and peering through the bars.

Evidence of reformation isnt always tangible, this "demonstrate you've changed" ploy is often undemonstrable as change is internal and within the mind. Just how you cant tell someone hasnt changed you cant tell they have.

To conclude.

You dont have to like Magnus, or forget , or forgive him. But if you believe in second chances you should look past his worst moments.

+1 luis, hello everyone I would like to let everyone know I was the one who originally got magnus banned, I've seen over the last 7 months extreme improvements in his behavior. these people who are defending him and trash talking on his post have nothing to do with him
