No Plans to Implement make it so more elders respond to ban appeals

honestly i’m making this because i’m impatient and this isn’t magpies fault and i don’t mean any disrespect to any staff and i know you guys are all busy and that he usually responds every month but i still think it would be cool if other elders should be able to respond to appeals and i have seen some elders respond to appeals but yeah. but tbh im just really impatient but yeah

As I know staff (guardians and above) discuss about appeals every once in a while, so its not a decision just mag makes. But Im pretty sure mag just handles the obvious ones.

Mag responds to the appeals, but all Elders discuss appeals.

Having more of us responding to appeals would not accelerate the speed at which we review them. We do it slowly because:

1. We want to give all appeals time for the community to weigh in.
2. We need time to internally review amongst a number of staff and we're not all available at the same time.
3. Frankly, we reject the vast majority of appeals. So for us it's not a rush to just tell people no.
