I think you’re just being weird about it everyone else seems to want it
What differences will it make to use a market chat in game, rather than public/global chat. It'll still get pushed out of sight by public chat, and it might even get turned off by user settings if they so wish. It might even get a bit spammy like festivals, which is definitely not what we want. It should be easier to advertise your goods, but adding another chat doesn't fix any of the underlying issues that prevent it in the first place.

There are many better solutions that others and I have pointed out than adding a market chat.
- Discord Market Channel, as foxy said.
- Advertisement boards at spawn.
- Making it easier for new players to understand how the forums work.
- Adding items to the market, as koi said.

Plenty of players go to dms to ask if anyone is doing schematics. A market chat will only make things more difficult for users to understand what is going on in chat, and will have little long term benefit.

Avoiding my arguments doesn't make my arguments any less valid. Not to mention you've failed to answer any of my questions regarding the usefulness of Market Chat because you don't see a use in it either.

And also you saying well just doing it in public chat well all public chats are the same color and will just be pushed aside and the market form is not active it’s so much easier as well if you’re in game to be able to send a chat in game saying what you’re selling or buying I’ve made a few market forms but none of them got any recognition but when I talk about it in game they do and I get what I need

It’s so much easier to be able to just do /ch market or whatever it would be then having to go on web browser then go to loka then go to loka forms then make an account then find where the market form is then make a form and wait till someone sees it but when you do it in game where the players are they will see it and you might even be able to get what you want right then and not have to wait for someone to see ur form

Better than market chat tbh
Well, I'm not sure I entirely agree with that. My main gripe would be that we may have to somewhat enforce people doing market stuff within market chat which sounds like a pain.

However, if people are going to spam chat with stuff like 'come and look and these heads I'm selling at spawn!!!' I'd rather they have their own chat I can disable.

This is ultimately my chief concern, otherwise I'm not really against this idea.
So two things:

1. Most servers that have these chats usually don't enforce them at often, or at all. (Example: any towny server, stoneworks)
2. You could add a slowmode thing for the channel to reduce the likelihood of non-market messages.

For almost every circumstance we're pretty happy to include more items within the market. Report items which aren't available for use on the market and we'll try to add them.
Fix the damn alcohol chest please and thanks you very much good fella you!
