Ever since 1.17, in proving grounds I've been getting tons of micro stutters, now while I don't exactly know why I'm pretty sure it's because of the chunks outside of the arena. Please get rid of the outside chunks so that I can actually fight the person instead of watching a stop-motion block movie

I think this more has to do with Minecraft's performance, not necessarily something that Loka can resolve. I would think this as it is something that has happened to me off of Loka as well, specifically in an area where there was a lot of vertical content.

My hypothesis is that the performance impacts are due to loading chunks with a lot of information contained within its subchunks, with shorter worlds having better performance than taller worlds. It would be possible to do some testing to identify if this is the actual cause of performance issues, but that would be moderately tricky.

They most likely were, but outside the barrier may not be developed, like painted

Mario is talking about weird vanilla/superflat chunks outside of the arenas in /duel on the PVP server, not the worldpaintered continents on live.
