Hello, I was banned about 11 months ago due to having an inappropriate Minecraft username. The username that I had, at the time of my ban, included a racist slur in Turkish, which I am aware could have been offensive to some, and for that, I am truly sorry. This ban was well-deserved, and I acknowledge my mistake from when I got banned; I should not have purposefully changed my username so as to offend some members of this community, and I can assure you that nothing like that will ever happen again. However, this ban was quite a while ago—almost a year ago—and for that reason, I can assure you that I have changed my ways on social media and Minecraft.
Before I begin this appeal, I must ask for forgiveness from anyone whom I offended; my actions were completely ridiculous and unnecessarily offensive, which I acknowledge and have learned from. Before my ban, I did not care much to play on this server, and I thought that it was quite boring; however, now I see that playing on this server with some of my friends really was quite a fond experience for me, and I do miss those times. I must also say that at the time of my ban, I was not as mature as I am today, and that my mistakes had a significant impact on my thoughts, for I have accepted how ridiculous it was of me to do such a heinous act. I can assure you that anything like that will not happen a second time.
I must acknowledge that, before my ban, I tried greatly to conceal within myself my external facade. That is, my actions outside of Loka Minecraft. When I was not playing Loka Minecraft, I would play on other servers, and I must admit, I was rather toxic at those times. All of those actions, I admit doing. I also admit that they have little to no representation of myself today, for I have changed a great amount since the duration of my ban. I must remind you that this ban was put in place 11 months ago. I truly believe that 11 months is an appropriate amount of time for a person to change their ways and how they interact with others; so, I can tell you with quite a bit of certainty that I have changed for the better since my ban. I can assure you that any bad that I have done before my ban will not occur again, as I am not the person I used to be a year ago.
In the past 11 months, I have been thinking about how much I wished to play on this server with my friends, some of whom I met years ago. This thought has dawned on me a few months after my ban was put in place, and ever since then, I could not get such a thought out of my head. I can tell you now that my motivation to change for the better was great, and that I have, in fact, changed for the better. I ask for forgiveness from anyone whom I have offended, and if you do not forgive me, please note that I have changed and am not the same person I used to be a year ago.
