Ban Reason: Hate Speech and Ban Evasion
Dear Loka Staff Team and Members,
I hope all is well with you. I am writing this appeal after being banned for hate speech and avoiding the ban for a year and two months. I want to start by taking full responsibility for my actions. Since what I said and did were completely unacceptable, I've been trying for a long time to understand why I did what I did and how I can make sure it doesn't happen again. Over the past year, I've had plenty of time to reflect on the ban and the type of person I want to be when interacting with others online. Instead of being able to manage myself and my own issues I was projecting on to other and expressing my anger that way, over the course of my 1 year and 2 month ban I have took the time and effort to work on myself and my own issues. I then thought it would be okay if I were to evade my ban but now I see the wrong of my ways, I violated the trust of the Loka staff team and presented myself as a hooligan in the eyes of the community. I was nothing but a common criminal but now I aspire to be better and start a new life living off the happiness and kindness of others. In addition to breaking the rules, that choice was to use such hateful speech and attempt to evade my ban was disrespectful to the staff members who work hard to maintain Loka's fairness and friendliness. I recognize that the combination of both behaviors gave a very bad impression of me. I truly miss playing on Loka and having fun with my friends, I sincerely hope the Loka community and staff. The most time I've spent away from Loka the more I realized how much I valued being able to be apart of the community and have fun on the server. I am aware of the consequences and severity of my actions but I hope that despite that I am able to one day join Loka again.
