Which rank you are applying for: Sentry
What you think is expected of this rank: I perceive that the primary role of a sentry is to keep public chat clean and moderating what the chat experience is like for everyone. There are many times when I am logged into Loka when guardians are not present so I realize the need to have a sub admin presence that can assist people in their in game issues as well as notifying admins when they need to come investigate an issue more thoroughly than I would be able to do. I also think a sentry should be one that other players can look up to in some ways as an example in the community as a whole.
Why you think you should become this rank: One of the bigger reasons I am applying is to take steps in becoming more involved in the development of Loka. The more I have gotten to know the staff here the more I have grown to appreciate all the free time they pour into this project and I would really like to assist them in that task since it is so large. I, personally, am not that active in public chat. I hold more to the opinion that it is more powerful to message someone individually to figure out any issue that is going on. Many times when things stay in public chat they escalate to heights far greater than they would ever really have to. Very often I pm people to try to resolve conflicts and I think that throws water rather than coal onto the fire of conflict in public chat. While I don't like to perpetuate conflict in public chat, I do want to keep it clean and healthy for the active players. Another reason I think I should be considered for a higher rank is because of the efforts I have made to bring the community together on Loka. From hosting a tournament, to creating a parkour course, to creating scavenger hunts for players online, I think I have endeavored to grow the community and add content for players to get excited about. I also have assisted new players in starting towns, getting to know how Loka works, and getting a solid start in the server. I would simply like the opportunity to continue to grow the community in more impactful ways. I believe having more sentries would assist in guiding newer players in getting to know the uniqueness of Loka and facilitate them contributing their own unique perspectives to the server. Though I haven't been on the server for years, or a slicer for a very long time, I do think I can bring maturity and insight to the administrative team and would be an asset to them.

How often do you play (hours a day/week): I am typically on Loka at least 2-3 hours a day on weekdays, and for about 5 or 6 hours on weekends. I am always on discord and stay up to date with the conversations going on in the Loka discord.
