I think it'd be cool if you were able to build either multiple towns or outposts within your territory. Just a type of generator or something that protected another area in your territory so you could have more than one town or settled area. Right now you get so much territory, but there's not THAT much you can do with it all.

I'd focus on that first town for a bit. Its going to take a bunch longer than you'd expect to fill that town. Sure it would be cool to have little outposts and stuff, but there are lots of players and only so much land. Its necessary to limit the amount of land any one town can keep completely protected.
