First off, I appreciate the time and effort you put into this. Your criticism is constructive and I value that.Nerdie seems like the perfect fit for Slicer where he is currently. He's always open to help new members and always does things with a good intention, "Slicers should be active members of the community, often playing the server, talking in chat/Discord, and reading over the forums." is something Nerdie does well and the role he has perfectly represents it.
However, in the words of Nerdie, the big difference between a slicer and sentry is responsibility. I don't believe he is someone fitting of taking that role, in your application you discuss your ability to help new members, being active and being able to be a friendly easy to talk to a person as well as your youtube series. Nothing here pops out to me as anything worth sentry, you haven't even stated in here "I believe I have the responsibility to take on this role" and nothing is outstanding here worth making a sentry from. While White_Raptor is very brief on their argument but I do believe it's correct. I think while being "friendly" is a start what here says your worth being a sentry, this role isn't given out for being a good boy and being positive, you need to be strict and firm as a moderation role to get punishments put through and to see people correctly punished for their behaviour.
While not the driving force of this argument it's important to note just 5 months ago Nerdie made a homophobic comment and then followed up with an apology that if anything supports the beliefs of the original statement, as someone who supports LGBTQ+ and knowing many with these type of views this worries me to have a sentry-like this, I can't personally believe you can be neutral as a moderator and follow with views like these. If you can prove me wrong I am happy to take back this point but for now, these views of discrimination paraded publicly make it very hard for me to see you as a neutral member of the staff team.

In regards to responsibility, I do have to disagree. I hate doing applications because I despise sounding like I'm bragging or anything, but responsibility is one area I believe I am strong in. I'm a big schedule person; I like things organized. I've run the NerdNation community for about 2.5 years now. I've managed social media accounts for several servers, and have been staff on a neato MMORPG server. I've run this YouTube channel for almost 4 years now, and due to that I've been given admin perms on several servers. I've had access to WorldEdit and trolling commands and all that. I don't believe you could find a staff team or server I've worked with that finds me irresponsible.
As for the Tweet, I will readily admit that it was out of place and I erred in saying that in the context of my Twitter following. However, my religious views should not be a reason against my being staff, and my apology/clarification underlined the fact that I absolutely do not hate those I disagree with. I have people in the LGBTQ+ community who are staff on NerdNation and I welcome them with open arms. I don't have to agree with someone to treat them with respect.
Again, appreciate your time, and if you have further concerns, I'd be happy to chat about it!
