As you will probably know, I have been asking around a bit for some new biome locations, since basically all I have found are some mountains and a taiga forest. I know I'm not the only one doing this, I heard Psy asking for a mesa biome and I bet a lot of players want specific places to build their towns/bases.
Could we make a list of biomes found, and their locations to the nearest 1000 blocks? I know this would really help people out :D . (If it's near your base or your town and you don't want to give it away, then keep it hidden). Not everyone has the time to go wandering around in the wild, but I know some people have been doing that non-stop since 1.7 came.
New 1.7 biomes, reply with locations please!!

I take no credit for the builds of spawn town. I had many helpers with that.
 
I find the bast way to find new biomes is find the biomes similar to the biome in which you wish to find. Since update 1.7 biome generation is smarter, like a mesa would be found near a desert and savanna near a plains. Even though you make a good point lea about helping others, I don't think it's going to catch on as telling someone which biome you live in and the coords of said biome narrows down the search for find you.

Pretty sure there is no Mesa but with the exception of Roofed Forest and sub-biomes, there are one or two of each 1.7 biome.
 
There are mesas , I guarantee it, you just need to find it as they are rare biomes. Like I said before, you best bet is to find a savanna or desert, fallow along its edge, and see what biomes are next to it.
 
Yeah I've found 3 Deserts and Savannas and no Mesa. It's the rarest of the new biomes and I am almost certain we don't have one within the boundaries. However, there is a Desert on the border where the the only land you can access is touching Ocean. So either it's an island or it connects to a new continent. If it is the latter there is likely to be a Mesa there. We'll just have to wait for the world to be expanded.
