Rejected New Forums Search engine

I've been trying to use the search engine to search for old threads, and I found that it seems to only find threads that have been created using the new forums, all old threads from the old forums you can't use the search engine to find.

That may be a big fat bummer due to the fact that we had to convert the posts in order to come here, but I'll see if anybody has any solutions out there.
