This is probably self-explanatory to some of you guys out there. But for those who wish to understand, I will explain my point of view. I genuinely think this is important, and could not find a concrete place in the rules that said specifically no politics in forums. The rules specify no politics in Loka, but I want to make sure that the forums are a part of "Loka". I have three main concerns.
First of all, Loka is a server filled with hundreds, maybe even thousands, of children, who can all create forum accounts. These children are much more susceptible to political views being put upon them. In the worst-case manipulation. I am concerned, as I have recently seen multiple texts and posts that I truly believe could manipulate vulnerable children. I will not include them here. If you wish to discuss this, you can bring it to my DMs on Discord away from our Minecraft server...
Secondly, Loka is a Minecraft server. We all come here to play and spend time with friends. We are supposed to be playing Minecraft and having fun with friends away from the outside world. That is at least from what I have heard a big factor for why a lot of people enjoy Loka and Minecraft multiplayer in general.
Lastly, Loka has had a strict no-politics rule for a long time. It is easily enforced everywhere on the server. I don't see why forums are an exception to this. And I'm sure that what I have mentioned is a fraction of what the admins thought when they decided to disallow politics.
And if this rule is already in place, then enforce it.....
