Suggestion Option to toggle firespread in towns

I would like the ability to toggle firespread in my town, and I think other town owners might like that option as well.

Like anything else it could be abused, since you could go out of your way to make a gen in a forest, toggle firespread, and then burn the forest down... but you would only burn it down inside your town, and that is your right, fire or no.

It might not be possible but it'd be neat if it was. Maybe it could even be done within smaller areas with the use of zones.

Unfortunately that's catastrophic for our custom trees as their leaves are frequently far away from log blocks and would decay into very dumb looking shapes (we've tried this already).
 
But we want to burn down the logs and the leaves, no one wants to chop down a million trees in there little island. What's the harm in allowing the owner's of a town to toggle fire spread? It would give myself and other lokans more freetime to do things that are more productive for the server and themselves than cutting down spawned in trees. thx

I can easily see a town accidentally turning it on, or turning it on to cut trees down while forgetting they have aesthetic fires placed throughout their towns and then their town burns down. This could very quickly become something admins are frequently called upon to rollback.

How about this:
1. It's not an admin's job to rollback their town or lost valuables or blocks if the damage was caused due to fire spread.
2. Have the fire spread automatically toggle off every hour. That way if a town forgets about it, they won't accidentally burn their town down.

Quite honestly, I just want this so I can clear out the remaining trees on my island. As long as that gets done in some shape or form, I'm a happy camper

Just from experience, this is unacceptable to players. People always want their screw-ups rolled back. We don't always do it, but it's not a good standard to give people an alarming level of control of something, then say too bad you deleted your entire town.
 
Crypt deserves a holiday dedicated to him, I mean, all this stuff we're asking him to do, all the time he'd dedicated to our wonderful Loka.

this is a suggestion thread for fire spread not a who needs a day thread get back on topic.

And my 2 cents is I have died many time chopping down thous giant jungle trees and I would love to watch them burn inside my town just so I don't die and lose all my levels for the 5 millionth time.
 
Perhaps I am alone in this, but I wouldn't mind the added responsibility for parts of my town burning down due to carelessness if firespread were toggled on. It would add to the realism of being a town owner, preventing and literally putting out fires. :p
