He is a very friendly person and knows the rules of loka, he helps new people in the guide chat and in the alliance in the doubts they have, I havent seen him be toxic, he would be a good slicer.

He's a really nice person. We talked about it in the town chat for about a month and he's a very respectful and kind person. Also helping spanish ppl at guide chat a lot. +1

This guy is the literal opposite of slicer material. He's a scummy, scummy player on the server. I'm not sure if I have much room to talk but I can sure as heck say that I have never been nearly as scummy as Thony has been. This has already been said but he has on multiple occassions gotten people banned or muted purely for slighting him on the server, not because he has any regard for the wrong they did in the situation. HUGE -1 from me.

-1 chill guy sure but weaponizing the rules of the server to get back at players you are not friendly with is not something a slicer should do. what i mean by this is hand selecting things somebody said that may have broken the rules just to get them punished purely to get back at them and not to actually punish rule breakers.

It's mainly the weaponising of offenses that's the gripe right?

I'm only asking because if it was something like them being hypocritical would probably go far for the argument they're bad for the server.

i would argue weaponizing rules is more harmful to the server than just being dumb. it creates a toxic environment where players try to get at each other by getting each other banned.

Right, and that's a fair thing to say or argue, it's just that from my standpoint as a staff member who's aligned with neither side it looks a lot like he just reported someone.

I understand there's a lot more going on there, but outside looking in that's really the main point. The reason I suggest reporting stuff like the person being hypocritical is that it's immediate and undeniable that this person isn't fit to represent the server.

Fwiw, I really am still split on the nomination. The guy brings a lot of players and is a LCR. However, a some players don't believe he represents the server.

i would definitely agree he's chill and i personally have never seen him get mad or show forms of toxicity, but i think for you as a staff member especially it is important to understand the difference between what he does and regular reporting. there is a difference between me finding messages of somebody who i am not friendly with being toxic to me in separated instances and make the case that he for example is harassing me or other players, and between me being constantly harassed by a player and making a serious report because i believe his behavior really is worth punishment. if im being honest i do not think piruletaas feels this for most of the reports he makes. the weaponization of server rules creates a toxic environment where people fight not in pvp, but to get eachother banned. it also just makes people take the rules less seriously, seeing them as a tool to get back at people you don't like and not as things that help create a better more fun server environment.

Although I wouldn't typically comment on something like this I feel like there's a misconception that there is such a thing as an "untargeted report" because quite frankly, the only harassment reports which are not targeted are those that aren't actually harassment reports. The nature of harassment is that it is targeted, and whether or not you choose to report it is ultimately up to you, however any report made clearly is in an attempt to have someone punished.

Regarding the substance of his nomination, what he reports is completely irrelevant and shouldn't affect what you believe. If we punish someone for something it is because they were in the wrong, not because we resolve every harassment report based on the word of the reporter. I believe that through Mr. Piruletaas' actions it's quite clear he is Slicer material when you consider how much he helps in Guide chat and his bilingualism. Additionally, his recruitment and hospitality to the Spanish speaking community also says a lot.

With all that said, having a problem with him for his actions of toxicity is perfectly reasonable and I believe that it is justified, however bundling it in with his harassment reports is likely not fair.

I don't agree with you at all Foxy. I believe you can criticize what Piruletaas reports as the intent behind it is obviously questionable. I think it is disingenuous to look at his reports like a report of a genuinely concerned player due to his history. His reports are calculated and intentional with the intent being to get anyone that he doesn't like banned or muted. The notion of I don't agree with you so I will unload a clip of ammunition that I have been saving up for months is harmful to the community and doesn't make Loka a friendly environment whatsoever.

I don't think this type of behavior should be encouraged or rewarded.
