Fact Check: it gets blocked automatically, but you have to make a ticket since the process to unblock is manual-1 using a vpn when ur from the usa disgusting behaviour
Fact Check: understandable mistake when you are on a VPN often since Loka is the only server with this mechanism (where it blocks you automatically but needs manual intervention to unblock) + i have never seen them perm ban for this before
Fact Check: not traditionally a perm banvpn = bad -1
Fact Check: got unbanned because it was false ban-1 cheater previously
Fact Check: Incorrect-1 u were giving your account to some people to play ranked so u could become a hero XX but u are banned GG
Aahhh Cheaters Ahh
Fact Check: NoIsnt this the guy that used vpn for ping abuse and tbotted to get bedrock and took all my elo -1
Fact Check: True+1 genuine mistake
no need to have exit lag when being from the usa it only wastes the time of whoever does vpn tickets and it already takes long enough to get a response on thoseFact Check: it gets blocked automatically, but you have to make a ticket since the process to unblock is manual

I am always on a VPN except when I am on Loka and so I often forget to turn it off when I log on and I get blocked, this has happened about 379 times to me by my calculations and it happens often to many other players. Despite me doing this quite often I have never been permanently banned but for some reason tedzi is. I suspect Loka is afraid to ban me because of my powerful reputation and status and they think they can bully around little Tedzi but I will not let them. This is the first time I have seen a player get perm banned for forgetting to turn off their VPN before they click on loka in the server list and it is a dumb reason to ban someone IMO, nevertheless she waited a while before this appeal as well. +1
she is not from the US she lives in like a cabin in the middle of the forest in canada and for alot of people exitlag helps reduce their ping. besides, the overarching point is that the server blocks it automatically and somebody forgetting to turn it off before they click join should not be worth a perm ban (if it was alot more people would be banned)no need to have exit lag when being from the usa it only wastes the time of whoever does vpn tickets and it already takes long enough to get a response on those
I do agree but still using a VPN is not allowed, and it's clear in the rules. But if it is a first offense I do believe they shouldn't be banned. +1she is not from the US she lives in like a cabin in the middle of the forest in canada and for alot of people exitlag helps reduce their ping. besides, the overarching point is that the server blocks it automatically and somebody forgetting to turn it off before they click join should not be worth a perm ban (if it was alot more people would be banned)

unlike other offenses (duping, harassment, exploit, etc.) which cant be done accidentally this one can be. loka automatically blocks VPN and you then have to get yourself manually unblocked by making a ticket. i dont think it is comparable to other offenses in the sense that it is very easy to have a VPN on while you are doing something completely unrelated to loka, forget you have it on and click the join server button before getting blocked. i know its easy because it has happened to me countless times and it happens to other people quite often. i have been unblocked every time and in general i just do not see people getting permed for this. it seems like an extremely harsh punishment and its clearly not the standard because if it was i would also be perm banned along with a number of other peopleI do agree but still using a VPN is not allowed, and it's clear in the rules. But if it is a first offense I do believe they shouldn't be banned. +1
i would like to thank the greatest loka player of all time for making some excellent points+1 mimo4 brings forth compelling arguments, and this being set as a perma ban sets a dangerous precedent for all ExitLag users moving forwards. countless recruits and friends of mine have been blocked from connecting to Loka bc of the VPN blocker, and considering the fact that mimo4 has accumulated more VPN blocks and unblocks than Tedzi, this being a perma ban is nonsensical.
I’d much rather see one of the following scenarios:
1. Tedzi gets unbanned yippee
2. Keep Tedzi perma banned and perma ban mimo4
Application of the rules should be standard across the board, so pick a side. Which is it? Should VPNs eventually lead to a perma ban down the road due to the hassle of the manual unblock process? Or is it unfair to issue perma bans for the sole offense on Loka that can be committed purely by accident?
