You guys tend to think I’m trying to ‘nuke’ every appeal but let me just be clear about this.
Prodxgy got banned for being a racist/bully and that means he has said racist stuff that offends other players.
Since you guys are saying it’s just this Erwxn guy who got reported, I understand your point of view to this being like +1, he did forgive him and he has become a better person.
The reason I -1 this is because racism is not something funny and it shouldn’t be joked around w it. It doesn’t matter to me whether he says the n word or something else, racism = racism.
Just because the person who reported / felt offended forgave him, it should not directly lead to an unban.
I know he waited 4 months, it is a decent amount of time to appeal for an unban, but in my opinion it just isn’t long enough in cases like racism / bullying / doxxing.
We have seen many and many occasions where players who got banned for this sort of stuff said they were reformed after just a similar amount of time as this.
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t have anything against Prodxgy and if he did change then I’m happy for him he did.. but I just don’t think enough time has passed looking at the reason of his ban.
Your arguments of me being banned for 4 years play absolutely no role in here, I can still reply on appeals, suggestions etc.
It’s up to staff whether they unban him or not, I wish both of you the best luck in that but imo you should wait a few more months.

I'm unclear in what you mean by mess. There has been 0 proof of prodigy not being reformed, any evidence that has shown of him not being reformed is based off of other people. This is Prodigy's appeal not someone elses.

We don't feel enough time has passed to lift your ban right now. We believe the appeal is sincere and is well written but it was just 4 months ago you were banned for bullying an individual and a tirade of hate speech. It is important to us that the ban length is a big enough deterrent to discourage players from taking part in this behavior. With more time we are happy to consider future appeals.
While in this case, the bickering in this thread did not impact our decision, it could well push us to reject appeals in the future. If you feel your 'friend' has changed, by all means, respond by explaining your point. However, do not respond to others' views unless they have posted a fact or evidence that requires correcting. Everyone is entitled to their views and it is our job to decide how valid they are. By jumping on someone for expressing their opinion, it reflects poorly on the one appealing and will likely result in us not accepting the appeal.
