What you think is expected of this rank:
Guardian is a real step up from Sentry, since it comes with more responsibility, so it needs to be taken seriously. In my opinion, the rank is mostly about trust, both from the staff team and from the players. A Guardian has to actually know the rules, not just the basics, and be fair with everyone when applying them, whether it's a close friend or someone they've never spoken to. Going easier on someone just because you know them isn't being fair, and that's a big part of what the role is about. Working with the rest of staff matters too, actually talking to them and asking for a second opinion instead of just going with your own read on things. A Guardian also has access to things that are meant to stay private, like report details or internal staff conversations. That information should never be shared with anyone outside the Guardian team, no exceptions.
What duties do you think you would be proficient in:
Right now I'd really like to get back into screensharing. I took a course on it a while back, provided through the tier list, and had some experience with it, but it's been quite a while since I last practiced, so I'm not as sharp with it as I used to be. That said, I think with some time and effort I could pick it back up pretty quickly. I'd also like to get more involved with handling reports, since it's another area where I think I could contribute regularly. If a town betrayal case came up I wouldn't have an issue handling it either, but SS and reports are where I'd rather put most of my focus for now. In general though, I'm open to learning whatever Guardians deal with day to day, since the more I understand about the role the more useful I can be to the community.

I've been around on Loka for a good while now, and between just playing normally and dealing with tickets as Sentry, I feel like I've picked up a fair amount of experience along the way, enough that I feel ready to take the next step. My activity has been solid overall, though there were a few months where personal circumstances made it harder for me to be as active as I wanted, but I'm doing much better now and feeling more active than ever. I spend a lot of time on here already, so I'd rather that time actually go towards something useful for the community instead of just playing like normal. Guardian means more responsibility and honestly that's what I want at this point, plus a way to keep helping out a server I've put years into at this point.
