Suggestion ranked 2v2

Hi, everyone is getting bored of ranked duels including me as its just the same deal over and over with each season. With previous suggestions for 2v2 ranked, the support is quite immense on it. Including this suggestion in December of 2025: https://forums.lokamc.com/threads/2v2-ranked-season.10838/page-2#posts. Despite all of the positive attitude toward the idea of a 2v2 ranked season, Loka has made no plans to implement the idea. And I have to ask, why?

A 2v2 ranked season would be something new and i think it would be really fun. It can at least be implemented for a little to try it out and see how people like it. You could queue up with a teammate in a party or just random queue if none of your friends are on or if you dont have friends. It is also fun to see what new teammate you get each time if youre random queuing. Elo would work the same way I suppose. Really, why not add this??

I personally can't think of making 2v2 ranked a bit balanced, it will be dominated by same parthners each week/season. And if you make it random parthner, it could even be worse, so I think there's lack of details. But I still would love to see 2v2 ranked, it's very fun and more mechanical
 
I think a better way of doing it is the final week before tournaments if its 2v2 or 3v3 etc then ranked opens up then and you randomly queue with other people so you can practice fighting with and against diff playstyles
