I’d like to propose a change to the matchmaking system so that you’re matched against players with similar ping. Since rank should be based on skill, it doesn't seem fair to have someone with 50 or 100 ms facing someone with 300 ms where the high-ping player takes no knockback and just spam-crits because they can't be comboed anyway. Please consider this.

(i went from emerald 1 to cooper 3 because of this)

I mean all people with 300 ms hit normally and refill and pot normally its just the kb that is laggy

If this was added, you'd get one ranked match every 3h. If you can't beat someone higher/lower ping than you they may just be better or you have to adapt your playstyle.

Queue times are already very long, and this would make them wayyyyy longer
Other then that, while it is frustrating to play vs a 300ms lagger, it is not impossible to counter

-1 rank matches take ages as it is, maybe prioritize matching pings but idk if that technology is too advanced

could add it as a toggleable option, so if you dont care about the queue times then you can do it
