Moral of this story: Think first, post second. Have an idea out there. Seriously. It's bad enough when admins have to sift through ban appeals that are just repetitive apologies or complaints that provide no additional insight whatsoever.

And I'd like to put in a suggestion for stickying this thread, if anyone else is willing to agree with me.
