No Plans to Implement Remove needing a clip to report for cheating?

I'm not sure why this would ever be added in the first place as no other server requires this. However, I feel like this rule was created without keeping in mind that some users simply struggle to use clipping software as well as the fact that some cheats can be hard to even clip in the first place such as someone lagging themselves or just slightly triggerbotting. I feel like this is also a bit strange considering I feel like a lot of players who DO get reported a lot especially in chat rarely get screenshared as well and if they do get screenshared it could take up to days or even weeks for them to be screenshared? I feel like a good example of this was prior was Rvzza who was blatantly cheating to get bedrock awhile ago and when he was screenshared weeks later he was clean as nothing competitive had been going on. I could also use breadtoastburnt as an example as he was cheating during the season FzU won hero and he climbed from gold to bedrock in a singular day and it took years for him to ever be checked. so I feel like the excuse of volume of reports is kind of insignificant considering most bigger threat players that actually cheat at a higher competitive level that do need to be screenshared take ages in the first place.

I agree, I report the people that I think are cheating and then I get warned if I do it again I will be banned from making reports? 😂
Reports are made so staff can investigate the reason why the player is saying that. They should search for logs or anything sus.

The issue is that ever player who plays rankeds gets reported. And those arent my words but these are the words of a guardian. Every player who plays ranked on a regular basis gets reported, some more often some less often. These reports without clips are meaningless and only cause noise that admins have to comb through. Also removing the need for clips would probably lead to people who usually submit clips not doing that anymore since its not required, and that causes less valuable reports overall

I get your point and I get where you r coming from but thats the sad reality

What could help with the issue is more ssers, perhaps training more guardians how to ss would be a good move? As far as I know there are very few active ssers, so increasing the ammount of them could certainly help

i hope that rysiawest will even log on after he went from emerald 1 to netherite 1 in an hour yesterday...
i've never seen someone go from an elo farm to a slighty more competent player lmfao
3k ranked matches and he hasnt been frozen once

What im gonna say is not proof but imo worth noticing, his twin necowest started climbing ranks at the same time as rysia and ended up being caught cheating. So they prolly started cheating together, but rysia didnt get caught

i fought rysia this week on flowpvp, now hes banned for cheating, heard that hes also banned on minemen also for cheating, somehow they never froze him

We never really changed anything about how we were already handling reports. Our recent announcement was really just to let the community know more publicly not to waste time making poor reports.

As has been stated, the large majority of hack reports are poor (confusing lag with things like lagswitch, etc.) When a report has a clip, it's plainly easier for us to investigate and when it's "x hacks pls ss", it's just wastes our time, so we delete them. Nothing really changed. If a volume of players suddenly report a new player for hacks even without clips, we still do see it and will take a look anyway, it's just an effort to try to get people to put some level of effort into reporting players.
