Dear Lokamc. This will be my last attempt on making this suggestion as this is the third time I’ve made it.

But since i last made this suggestion more and more Scandinavian people has started playing loka and i feel like we could have it so we got our own chat as well.

why should this be added?

A lot of Scandinavian people are playing now, and we should also be able to speak our main language in the chat without being warned for it. Skuhoo commented on the last suggestion that all the chats added are based on the players' English-speaking levels and mentioned that Scandinavians are generally better at speaking English than players from other countries. However, I still believe we should have our own chat so we can speak in our main language.

Also this chat is not for one language, its for 3. Swedish, Norwegian and Danish which is super similar.

Please reconsider and possibly add this.

It's not that we have something against Scandinavian chat, but looking at other regional channels:
  • Only Spanish and Turkish are generally used.
  • Polish, Portuguese, and Chinese are almost completely unused, and what is in there is actually English anyway.
I appreciate the growing interest for the channel but this should be revisited after some considerable growth on Loka I think, not just a couple bumps of late. Even combined the 3 scandinavian countries don't reach the playercount of Polish players, and their channel is almost entirely unused (paired with the english comprehension argument).

Future efforts in internationalizing Loka might make it even easier for us to spinoff regional channels, and at that point it might be a simple sell to add Scandinavian chat along with any others we may be considering.

Don't give up hope! It's not a permanent no, just a no for now.

Even combined the 3 scandinavian countries are roughly on par with Polish players, and their channel is almost entirely unused (paired with the english comprehension argument).

I would like to see every nation speak their own language freely and speak freely with each other without interfering with each other, but cyrptite is right about what he says, because it is very tiring to bring support for all languages that do not reach a certain statistical value, representatives should be elected, they should gain credibility, they should bring language support not only for written but also for everything with menus and systematic, But if there is something more than that, it is that other low-player nations are also disenfranchised, this time everyone with low activity will want to speak their language and the authorized team will finish themselves with language-based updates rather than development, I hope that your activity will soon exceed the specified scale and your language will be added to the server.

It just depends on the activity of the players of the country, china chat used to be more active a while back when there were more asians playing, polish chat was used before the polish ban wave. And Portuguese chat always been dead ngl

This is so stupid, remove my warn and make it so you dont get warned for talking your native language, like where else are you supposed to??? Its a chat for THREE languages and you have plenty og trustworthy players to moderate it? I just wanna talk my main language in chat without bring warned, and just because we know English "better" than some other people doesnt mean we dont want to talk it

Warns are not some black spot on your record that we keep track of, it's just a plain simple warning.

I don’t care i want 0 warnings, doesnt look good having warnings when deciding if i get muted or banned (an example obviously) and its just stupid to get warned for talking your main language in public chat

If you want 0 warnings then don't break rules. You don't get a pass because you had requested a chat channel. This applies equally to every single player equally.
