What you think is expected of this rank: I see the rank of Sentry as doing the dirty work. Many issues like people being toxic in chat or people breaking minor/moderate rules don't require a guardian, and lesser roles can handle this giving warnings and mutes so higher roles can deal with the bigger problems like cheaters and dupers. Sentry’s should be completely unbiased and professional in dealing with players, as the boots on the ground staff of Loka it is critical that they establish a good first impression on the Loka player base. To aid with this they must have a good foundational understanding of Loka, commands, town zoning, general knowledge of the server and server culture as a whole and honestly most importantly have the respect of your peers. [Copied from my original application, I still whole-heartly believe in it so I will not waste your time, or my time rewriting the exact same thing.]
Why you think you should become this rank: Because I have had prior experience with Loka itself, and the Diamond Pot community as a whole. I was a sentry for around two years (give or take) and I have been involved with Loka since mid 2022. I have shown that I can deal with people on here, I can handle tickets, I can help new staff out and I personally think I am capable of doing it again and even better this time. I am a decently known figure on Loka too, people come to me to ask for loka-related issues/staff-related issues (even after my resignation) and honestly I think I could do a lot of good with this position. I have also proved that over on the old Pot Tierlist, where I was admin twice and while I had my bad moments, I feel like most of the high staff at the time there could agree that I was a good addition.
I know some of my tenure as a Mod on here is overshadowed with my to put it bluntly mental illness issues. Some of you may think "Why does he deserve a second chance?" and honestly, I agree with you. I don't really know if I do or not. I just wanted to let the people who decide if I pass or not know that I am medicated nowadays. Of course it shows up from time to time but it's not noticable on a public level anymore and it won't interfere with my duties nowadays. I apologize to Kaph, Mag and Crypt for making them deal with it. It's just a minecraft server and I dont think they signed up to deal with THAT.
