Part 1: What is harassment and why was ı banned?
Harassment both in games and in general refers to unwanted, disturbing or hostile behavior directed at an individual .
This behavior can be verbal written or physical and aims to disrupt someones gaming experience or target them.
Examples of in game harassment:
Verbal Harassment: Using offensive language insults or derogatory remarks against a player.
Targeting: Deliberately targeting a player repeatedly to make the game unbearable for them.
Cyberbullying: Threatening belittling or making disturbing comments to a player through written messages.
I unintentionally subjected the player "4deshh" to cyberbullying one of the examples listed above.
I had known "4deshh" for a long time and while we occasionally argued we also chatted sometimes . One day during a conversation on a Discord server they got involved in a toxic way .
I responded in the same manner but as the situation escalated I crossed the line and mentioned things they were ashamed of having spread mocking them. They reported me and I got banned .
I've known Loka for 3.5-4 years and I'm still in touch with many people from there. Even though its been 2 years since I got banned from Loka I still watch the Loka tags I see and the videos that pop up in front of mebut I can't play myself because I'm banned. The reason I got banned was because I sent a photo of the player named 4deshh to many people and said “Am I handsome bro?”As far as I know I received my first warning from Loka because of this incident. The day I got banned I was having a normal chat on Discord with my friend when the player named 4deshhjoined the chat in a toxic way and the conversation turned into an argument. In that argument I used the phrase “Am I handsome bro?” in a moment of anger and he must have been upset and hurt by this, because he rightly reported me to the Loka authorities and I got banned. Compared to my previous appeals the only thing I can say is that I believe I have become a less toxic person more suited to the Discord community. I haven't experienced any toxic incidents for 6-7 months.Before these 6-7 months I was the toxicity itself.I was so toxic that even though I said it had decreased in my previous appeal before these 6-7 months, I was just a toxic kid who argued with people. I'm ashamed that people knew me like that but now I'm a more mature person compared to that “toxic” kid they knew. I apologize to everyone who read this appeal who didn't read it who knows me as toxic or who encountered my toxicityand experienced insults or bullying. If they expect an apology from me for these situations I can apologize to them; this is stated at the beginning of the appeal. I really miss playing with my friends in the lobby; while they play I am serving the punishment for my mistakes and waiting for this punishment to end. In this appeal I haven't mentioned anything about the process before or after getting bannedbecause it's not important. I want my current apology to be taken seriously not the events that happened then. I may have repeated the same things in this appeal because, compared to my previous appeals my only goal is to apologize to the people I hurt and be able to log in alone and spend time with my friends.
